About The Position

Scodix is looking for a buyer who will join to our team :

Responsibilities

  • Manage to local suppliers and subcontractors in Israel
  • Building relationships with suppliers and negotiations
  • New suppliers sourcing
  • Cost reduction project management
  • Import processes, responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments, such as R&D, Engineering, Planning
  • Monitoring open order status and escalating discrepancies to suppliers and management
  • ECO implementation responsibility (logistics and commercial) 
  • Control suppliers’ performance (material purchases, shortages, production planning)

Requirements

Requirements

  • Experience in the Israeli local procurement (Sheet metal, Machining, Electronics) - Must
  • At least four years of purchasing experience
  • BA degree (Logistics, Industrial Eng., Economics)
  • Good English (verbal and written)
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience of subcontracting management

Personal Skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with team members, clients, and suppliers
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads
  • Excellent communications, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivation
  • High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
