Scodix Strengthens Distribution Power in European Market Through Strategic Partnership with Henche S.A.
Rosh Ha’ayin, September 13, 2010 – Scodix Ltd., the leading developer of digital enhancement presses, today announced it has signed a distribution agreement with Henche S.A. Under this agreement, Henche will market the Scodix1200 ™ DigitalEmbossing™ press to the Graphic Arts market in Spain, including sales of consumables, and provide customers with technical and product support for the press.
Scodix and Henche both benefit from this partnership. Scodix establishes a leading position in the Digital Post press solution industry, and Henche with 80 years in the printing industry is well represented in the Digital and offset markets in Spain .
Scodix started commercial sales in May 2010, and have already begun delivery and installations in Europe. The company goal is to continue to provide more post-press enhancement solutions which are state-of-the-art, environmentally friendly and meet customer requirements.
Henche supplies a complete range of printing, finishing and Pre-press equipment and it has a Technical Service Department devoted to the installation and assembly of equipment, maintenance, repairs and training of client’s personnel.

The Scodix1200™ UV DigitalEmbossing™ press, enables effortless digital embossing of selective areas (gloss or matte) on printed media with a unique and thick clear ink of up to 70 microns, dual-sided, thereby enriching the printed application with an embossing effect that gives dimensionality and texture to images and words.
It’s easy-to-use digital interface supports Variable Data Embossing (VDE) for personalized applications, such as greeting cards, business cards, invitations, and stationary applications as well as photo albums and more. The Scodix1200™ is ideal for short, medium and long runs, it stores all image data digitally from a PC, works with both PDF and Tiff files in a variety of formats including B2 and A3 (up to 50x70cm / 20×28 inch) and accepts a wide selection of substrates (135-500 gr/m2).
