Scodix says its glitter and Braille solutions attracted an ‘unprecedented’ number of visitors to the company’s stand at drupa

Israeli digital print enhancement specialist Scodix says its drupa debut made history with around 30,000 visitors snapping up a sample, equating to one every two seconds. The company, which exhibited its S74 digital press with Scodix Sense technology as well as new glitter and Braille printing systems at the show, also secured sales into new markets.
In Düsseldorf Scodix took orders for press installations in Russia, the Far East and the Netherlands, as well as increasing awareness across its established markets, and says its technology was ‘one of the most popular exhibits’ at the show.
Scodix founder and chief executive Kobi Bar says: “We are terrifically pleased with the attendance, interest and new customers we received for the Scodix presses during the drupa show. The number of people visiting the stand and the amount of people taking away samples shows the extraordinary level of interest in the unique properties of the Scodix technology.”
“The new glitter and Braille applications were a great hit for those customer[s] and prospects we spoke to,” adds Ziki Kuly, vice-president of marketing, Scodix.
“We could not expect for a better stage to bring Scodix to the hands of the graphic arts community.”
