The Role
We are seeking a Sales Manager for France and Spain to lead business development and sales activities in the local market.
This is a field-oriented role requiring deep technical understanding, strong customer engagement, and the ability to manage long, consultative sales processes. Success in this role depends on the ability to understand production environments, speak the language of engineers and operators, and translate advanced technology into clear commercial value.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive new business development across the local market
• Lead long-cycle, consultative sales processes involving technical and commercial stakeholders
• Conduct in-depth customer meetings, technical discussions, demonstrations, and site visits
• Understand customer workflows and production challenges, and position Scodix solutions accordingly
• Work closely with application, service, and internal technical teams
• Maintain accurate opportunity tracking, forecasts, and reports using CRM and basic data analysis tools
• Represent Scodix at trade shows, events, and customer open houses
• Extensive travel across the region- 80%
Requirements
Who You Are
• A hunter mindset – proactive, resilient, and driven to create opportunities
• Strong technical background with the ability to quickly grasp advanced systems and processes
• Experience in capital equipment sales, preferably within printing, packaging, embellishment, or related industrial technologies
• Candidates with extensive technical exposure, especially in embellishment and/or printing technologies, will be strongly preferred
• Comfortable leading technical conversations with production managers, engineers, and operators
• Able to manage long sales cycles with multiple decision-makers
• Hands-on, self-managed, and comfortable working independently
• Willing and able to travel extensively
Skills & Qualifications
• Proven experience in technical or capital equipment sales
• Strong understanding of industrial or production environments
• Basic Excel skills and data analysis capabilities (pipeline tracking, forecasting, ROI calculations)
• Fluent French and Spanish; good working English required
