With this in mind, we built\u00a0the Scodix foil\u00a0platform to support existing foil supplies in the marketplace. As we like to say – Scodify the rainbow in foil!<\/p>\n How Does It All Work?<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong>Our Scodix Foil system is a three-step UV-based process that transforms a printed sheet into a Scodified beauty.<\/p>\n The first step in the process is known as the Pinning stage. This lays our specially formulated polymer down on the sheet in the desired image area. Flow is quickly frozen in place with the assistance of the first LED UV station.<\/p>\n The second station the sheet hits is the \u201cActivate\u201d station that hits the polymer again with a low-output of traditional UV. This turns the polymer into an adhesive that enables the foil to adhere to the sheet \u2013 only where the enhancement is desired.<\/p>\n After the foil is applied down onto the activated polymer \u2013 each sheet is sent through a final traditional UV station for curing.
