Touch the Sky’ at the Scodix Booth

Scodix SENSE (Booth 2241) is the technology behind artist Tom Zotos’ new project featuring the legacy of Jimi Hendrix. Zotos, who created three posters that highlight Hendrix’s greatest and pivotal performances at Monterey Pop Festival, Hollywood Bowl, and Woodstock, and are for sale on the Jimi Hendrix Foundation’s Website, will be at the Scodix booth at GRAPH EXPO to autograph select posters for visitors.

With the ’60s-inspired “Star Spangled Jimi” poster, which celebrates the 45th anniversary of Woodstock, Zotos has graphically captured the essence of Hendrix at the event, where he infamously played a dramatic rendition of the national anthem on an electric guitar.

The posters are printed using the Scodix SENSE printing process, used for the first time by Zotos on the collectible art prints. The first three posters in the Jimi Hendrix collection feature the 3D effect using “Scodix On Top,” a new technology that enhances the artwork to transcend personal senses beyond mere sight.

Developed by Scodix Ltd., the new digital enhancement technique adds a 3D look and feel shine to high-quality artwork of the posters that stimulates human senses to provide depth to the imagery.

The posters are also available for purchase at the foundation’s Website: www.jimihendrix1.com A 20% discount for all orders is being offered during GRAPH EXPO, simply by plugging in the promo code: GRAPHEXPO14.
